Choosing a size: measure your dog lying stretched out, from nose to base of tail, and add a few inches. If the pad is going inside a crate or bed, measure the floor of that space too.

Cool to the touch, not a cooling device. The fabric feels cool, but the pad has no gel, refrigerant or power source and does not lower your dog's temperature. In hot weather, give your dog shade, fresh water and good airflow as well.
- Hand wash only, and let the pad dry completely before use so the filling does not stay damp.
- Supervise dogs that chew bedding. Take the pad away if the fabric is torn and filling is exposed.
