Product Overview
Some dogs will fetch until your arm gives out. This automatic dog ball launcher takes over: your dog drops a ball into the top, the machine senses it and fires it out again within five seconds, at a distance you choose. Three range settings cover a hallway-length toss up to a proper 15-metre sprint, and a full charge is good for around 1,500 launches. It is the closest thing to an off switch for a tireless retriever — and a genuinely good way to exercise a high-drive dog in a garden or park.
Why You'll Love It
- Your dog can self-play once they learn to drop the ball in — no arm required
- Three launch distances, from a short indoor-sized throw to 15 metres
- About 1,500 launches or 5–6 hours of use per charge
- USB-C fast charging and a proper protected lithium battery pack
- Auto standby after 30 minutes so it does not sit running in an empty garden

Important Information
-
Use the correct balls. The machine is built for 58 mm (2.3 in) ETPU balls. Ordinary tennis balls of a different size or material will reduce the launch distance or stop the machine working — keep spares of the right type.
-
One ball at a time. Drop a single ball into the top hole and wait for it to fire before adding the next. Loading several at once will jam it. If a ball does stick, tilt the machine forward and it will clear.
-
Always supervise. A launched ball carries real force over a long distance — use it in an open area away from people, windows, traffic and other animals, and never let a dog put their face over the launch opening.
- Check the launch channel is clean and clear before each session.
- Never use the machine while it is charging.
- Charge as soon as the red indicator starts flashing. If the pack drops below its protection voltage the machine shuts down and will only restart after charging and a power cycle.
- It is not water resistant. Keep it out of rain, puddles and hose spray, and bring it indoors after use.
- Allow the 6-second start-up self-check to finish — the machine cannot launch during that window.
- Keep sessions sensible. A dog that will fetch forever can still overheat or overdo it; watch for heavy panting and give them water and a break.
- Operate and store between −10°C and 45°C.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can my dog use it on their own?
Once they have learned to drop the ball into the top hole, yes — that is the point of the auto-sensing design. Teach the drop first with you loading it, then let them take over. Always stay within sight.
What balls does it take?
58 mm (2.3 in) ETPU balls, three of which are supplied. Standard tennis balls of another size or material will not launch properly.
How far does it throw?
Three settings: 5–7 m, 9–11 m and 13–15 m. It starts on the shortest setting each time you switch it on — press the distance button once for the middle range and twice for the longest.
How long does a charge last?
Roughly 1,500 launches, or 5–6 hours of use. The indicator light shows green above 90%, yellow from 25% to 90% and red below 25%.
Can I leave it outside in the garden?
No. It is not water resistant and should be brought indoors after each session.
Is it suitable for indoor use?
Only in a large, clear space — even the shortest setting throws 5–7 metres with force. A hallway or garage may work; a living room will not.
What if the ball gets stuck?
Tilt the machine forward and the ball will launch. Then check the launch channel is clear before carrying on.
