A perch is not included, despite what you may read elsewhere. The manufacturer's own product title advertises this carrier "with Perch and Tray", but its package contents list states only the backpack and the plastic plate. We have gone with the package list, because that is what actually ships. If you need a perch inside, plan to add one — and if the supplier confirms otherwise we will update this page.
Important Information
The manufacturer publishes no external or internal dimensions for this carrier. On a product where the only question that matters is "will my bird fit", that is a real gap and we are not going to fill it with a guess. If you tell us your bird's species and size, we will ask the supplier for the measurements before you order.
The supplier listed two grey options at slightly different prices with no stated difference between them whatsoever — same colour, same description. Rather than publish a choice that means nothing, we have removed the second and are selling the single grey version.
Travelling safely with a bird: keep journeys short, never leave the carrier in a parked car, and keep it out of direct sun — birds have very little tolerance for heat. Secure the carrier in the vehicle so it cannot tip. Roll the door down for airflow but check your bird can be seen and reached. Introduce the carrier at home with the door open and treats inside before the first real trip; a bird meeting an unfamiliar bag for the first time on the way to the vet has a much worse day than one that already thinks of it as furniture.
Clean the tray and mat between trips. The mat is removable for washing; air-dry it fully before reuse.
