Product Overview
A cat litter box splash guard for the cat who stands up to pee, digs like they are excavating, or simply overshoots the tray. Rather than replacing your litter box, this extra-large surround goes around it: tall sides catch spray and kicked litter, while the top stays open so the cat still gets the airy, unenclosed tray many cats prefer. It is the middle ground between an open tray that sprays your skirting board and a hooded box your cat refuses to use.
Why You'll Love It
- Stops wall and floor splashback from a cat who pees standing up
- Catches the litter that vigorous diggers kick over the edge
- Open top, so cats who dislike enclosed hooded boxes still use their tray happily
- Works with the litter box you already own — nothing to replace
- Water-resistant surface wipes down rather than absorbing
- Extra-large footprint suits big cats and big trays

On the material, we have to flag something. The manufacturer's specification sheet records the major material as "carbon-fiber". We do not believe that, and we are not going to repeat it as though we do — genuine carbon fibre would cost many times this product's price. In all likelihood it is a rigid plastic or composite panel with a carbon-fibre-look finish. We have asked the supplier for the actual material and will correct this page when we hear back. Until then, please treat the panel as rigid plastic and do not buy it expecting a carbon-fibre product.

Important Information
No dimensions are published for this surround. "Extra large" is the manufacturer's own description and the only sizing detail that exists. Since this has to fit around your specific litter tray, measure the tray's length, width and height and message us — we will ask the supplier for the panel measurements before you order rather than have you guess.
Wipe down regularly; even a water-resistant surface holds odour if urine is left to dry on it. Warm water and a mild pet-safe detergent are enough — avoid bleach and strong ammonia cleaners around litter trays, since ammonia smells like urine to a cat and can encourage soiling elsewhere.
This is a shield, not a litter box. It does not hold litter on its own and does not come with a tray.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does a litter box come with it?
No. This is the surround only — it goes around a tray you already have.
Will it fit my litter box?
The manufacturer publishes no measurements, only "extra large". Measure your tray and ask us; we will get the figures from the supplier.
Is it really carbon fibre?
The supplier's spec sheet says so and we doubt it, for the reasons above. Assume rigid plastic with a carbon-look finish. We have queried it.
Will my cat use it — mine hates covered boxes?
That is exactly the case this is made for. The top is open, so it does not feel like a hooded box; only the sides are raised.
Does it stop litter tracking on the floor?
It catches litter kicked over the sides. It does not stop litter carried out on paws — a litter mat at the entrance handles that.
How do I clean it?
Wipe with warm water and a mild pet-safe detergent, then dry. Skip bleach and ammonia-based cleaners near a litter tray.
