Product Overview
Claws and car doors do not get along. Every time a dog jumps in, scrambles across the seat or leans out of a half-open window, the inside of the door panel takes the damage — scratched trim, muddy paw prints and hair worked into the fabric. This dog car door cover is a simple two-piece guard that hangs over the inner door panel and takes that punishment instead. Made from waterproof 600D Oxford cloth, it wipes clean, stays put on the door with hook-and-loop pads, and comes as a pack of two so both rear doors are protected in one go.
Why You'll Love It
- Protects door panels and trim from claw marks, mud and shedding
- Two covers in every pack — both sides of the car in one purchase
- Waterproof 600D Oxford face wipes down instead of soaking through
- Attaches without tools, adhesive or permanent fixings
- Optional window stiffeners hold the top edge flat and taut
- Solid black, grey or beige to suit most car interiors

Important Information
-
Test the placement before you commit. The manufacturer specifically advises positioning the mating fastener strip on the door and checking the fit before pressing it down.
-
If you want the window to move, leave the stiffeners out. The clear PP sheets sit in the window gap. The manufacturer states that if you intend to raise and lower that window, you should not fit them.
-
Wipe clean. The manufacturer publishes no laundering instructions for these covers, so we do not recommend machine washing. Wipe the Oxford face down with a damp cloth and let it dry fully.
- This is an interior trim protector. It is not a pet restraint, not a barrier, and it does nothing to keep a dog in place — use a proper harness or crate for that.
- Do not let a cover hang over a door handle, window switch or airbag panel.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many covers do I get?
Two. Each pack contains a pair, which is enough for both rear doors.
Will it fit my car?
It is a universal flat panel of roughly 66 × 56 cm rather than a moulded fit for a specific model. Measure the inside of your door panel against that figure before ordering — on a very large SUV door it will cover the main scratch zone rather than the entire panel.
How does it stay on the door?
Six hook-and-loop pads on each cover mate with strips positioned on the door panel, and three clear PP sheets can be slotted into the window gap to hold the top edge flat.
Can I still open the window with it fitted?
Only if you leave the PP stiffeners out. The manufacturer states that the sheets sit in the window gap and should not be used on a window you plan to move.
Is it actually waterproof?
The manufacturer describes the 600D Oxford face as waterproof and stain-resistant. It is designed to stop wet paws and mud reaching the door trim, not to be submerged.
Can I put it in the washing machine?
The manufacturer gives no washing instructions, so we cannot tell you it is machine-safe. Wipe it clean and air-dry it.
