Important Information
Sizing. The manufacturer lists sizes S to XL but does not publish a measurement chart. Before ordering, take two measurements with a soft tape: the circumference of your dog's muzzle roughly halfway between the eyes and the tip of the nose, and the circumference of the neck just behind the ears. If your dog falls between two sizes, choose the larger one — a head halter can be adjusted down, but not up.
This is a head collar, not a muzzle. A head halter guides and steers. It does not prevent biting, and your dog can still open its mouth, pant, drink and take treats while wearing it. If you need bite prevention, see the muzzles elsewhere in our range.
Fitting. The nose loop should sit high on the muzzle, loose enough for your dog to open its mouth but not so loose that it can be pushed off with a paw. The neck strap sits high, just behind the ears. Attach the lead to the halter together with a normal collar or harness as a backup.
Using it safely. Introduce the halter gradually with treats over several short sessions before walking in it — most dogs need time to accept anything resting on the muzzle. Never jerk or snap the lead while a head halter is fitted; the neck is not built to take a sudden sideways load. Do not use a head halter with a retractable lead or a long line, and never tie your dog up or leave it unsupervised while wearing one.
Care. Hand wash the nylon in cool water with a mild soap and air dry away from direct heat. Check the stitching and buckle before each walk and retire the halter if either shows wear.
