This is a buoyancy aid, not certified life-saving equipment. It is not tested or approved to any marine safety standard that we can verify, and it will not keep an unconscious or exhausted dog's head clear of the water on its own. Never treat it as a substitute for supervision.

Never leave a dog in water unattended, in or out of a vest. Stay within reach, especially in surf, current or cold water.

Before ordering, measure your dog's chest girth behind the front legs, and message us with that measurement and your dog's weight — we will check the size against the supplier rather than guess for you.

Check the fit on dry land first. The vest should be snug enough that it cannot slide forward over the head or rotate under the belly, but loose enough for two fingers under every strap.

How do I pick the right size?
Measure your dog's chest girth at the widest point behind the front legs, and note the current weight. The manufacturer publishes size labels (S to XXL) but no measurement chart, so send us those two numbers before ordering and we will confirm with the supplier rather than have you guess.
Will this keep my dog afloat if it gets into trouble?
It adds buoyancy and buys time — that is the honest answer. It is a swim aid, not a certified life jacket, and there is no published buoyancy rating. Your dog still needs you within reach.
My dog already swims well. Is a vest pointless?
No. Good swimmers still tire, and it is distance and cold that catch dogs out rather than technique. A vest is most useful on long swims, on boats, and in cold or moving water, where a confident dog is most likely to overcommit.
Can it be used in a chlorinated pool?
Yes, and rinse it in fresh water afterwards. Chlorine left in polyester will shorten the life of the fabric and the stitching.
Does it have a lifting handle on the back?
The manufacturer does not confirm one, so we are not claiming it. If you specifically need a grab handle for lifting a dog out of a boat, ask us first and we will check before you order.
Can my dog wear its collar and leash with the vest?
Keep a collar on for ID, but never leave a leash attached to a dog in open water — a trailing line is a genuine tangle and snag hazard.
