This is a visibility garment, not a harness. It has no load-bearing D-ring and must not be used to attach a leash. Walk your dog on a proper harness or collar and put the vest over the top.
- Measure your dog before ordering: chest at the widest point behind the front legs, neck at the base, and back from the base of the neck to the base of the tail. Compare against the chart above and size up if you are between sizes.
- There is a real gap between the S and M chest ranges (44–53 cm). If your dog measures in that gap, please message us before ordering.
- The manufacturer describes the fabric in one place as warm and in another as breathable fluorescent polyester. This is a light single-layer vest, so we describe it as breathable and do not claim it as a warm coat.
- Reflective materials work by returning light. In areas with no ambient light or headlights, add a lit collar or a clip-on light.
- Check the fit does not restrict the shoulders. Supervise the first few wears.

How do I choose the right size?
Measure your dog's chest, neck and back length and compare with the chart above. If a measurement falls between two sizes, go up.
Can I clip a leash to it?
No. There is no leash attachment point and none is claimed. Use a harness or collar underneath and wear the vest over it.
Is it warm enough for winter?
No, and we would not sell it as one. It is a light single-layer visibility vest. For cold weather, layer it over an insulated coat.
Will it show up in car headlights?
Yes — that is what the reflective detailing is for. The fluorescent fabric does the work in daylight and dusk, the reflective elements at night.
Is it suitable for hunting season?
Hiking and hunting are both listed uses, and blaze orange is the conventional choice for making a dog visible in cover. Check any local requirements about the size and placement of visible markings.
How do the fastenings work?
Adjustable hook-and-loop closures pull the vest in to fit, so one size covers a range of chest and neck measurements.
