Product Overview
A large-capacity bird water dispenser that hangs inside the cage and refills its own bowl as the level drops. Open water dishes in a bird cage are a daily nuisance — they get seed husks and droppings in them, they get knocked over, and they run dry between top-ups. This dispenser holds a reservoir above a shallow drinking bowl, so the bowl stays full without you refilling it, and the no-spill design keeps water off the cage floor and out of the bedding.
Why You'll Love It
- The bowl refills itself from the reservoir, so water lasts through the day
- No-spill, leak-proof design keeps the cage floor and bedding dry
- Enclosed reservoir keeps seed husks and droppings out of the water supply
- Hangs on the cage, so it cannot be tipped over
- Smooth ABS and PP plastic wipes clean and does not hold odour

Two supplier inconsistencies, stated rather than smoothed over. First, the manufacturer's product title markets this as a food dispenser as well as a water dispenser, while its own specification sheet records the item type as "Bird Drinker" and its package list as "1 piece Bird Drinker". We have titled it as a drinker, because that is what the specification confirms. Some owners do use dispensers of this shape for dry seed; we simply cannot promise it on the manufacturer's behalf. Second, the specification sheet gives the colour as White while the purchase option is labelled Beige. Expect a pale, off-white unit and treat the exact shade as unconfirmed.
Package Includes
- 1 × hanging bird water dispenser
Important Information
Allow a 1–2 cm (0.39–0.79 in) tolerance on the dimensions above; they are measured by hand. Check them against your cage before ordering — at 16 cm wide this needs a reasonable amount of interior room, and it is the one figure we can give you with confidence.
Change the water daily rather than simply topping it up. A reservoir keeps the bowl full, which is not the same as keeping it fresh, and biofilm forms inside any water container within a day or two. Wash the dispenser out properly every few days with warm water and a bottle brush; rinse thoroughly and let it dry before refilling.
Check daily that water is actually flowing from the reservoir into the bowl. A blocked or airlocked dispenser looks full while the bowl is empty, and small birds dehydrate very quickly.
Mount it away from and never directly below a perch, so droppings cannot land in the bowl.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I put seed in it instead of water?
The manufacturer's own title says yes, its specification sheet says it is a drinker. We have gone with the specification. Use it for water with confidence; treat food use as unconfirmed.
How big is it?
16 × 13.7 × 12 cm (6.30 × 5.39 × 4.72 in), with a 1–2 cm hand-measurement tolerance. Check it against your cage interior.
What colour will I receive?
The option is listed as Beige and the specification sheet says White. Expect a pale off-white; we cannot confirm the exact shade.
How does it stop spilling?
It hangs on the cage so it cannot be tipped, and the reservoir feeds a shallow bowl rather than presenting an open dish of water.
How often should I clean it?
Change the water daily and wash it out fully every few days with warm water and a brush.
What is it made of?
ABS and PP plastic.
