This is a timer, not a humidity controller. It mists on a repeating cycle and has no humidity sensor. Use a hygrometer in the enclosure and adjust the schedule until the readings suit your species.
- Mist settles as water. Make sure your enclosure drains and ventilates properly so the substrate does not become waterlogged, which causes mould and scale rot.
- Never aim a nozzle directly at an animal, a heat lamp, a ballast or any other electrical fitting.
- Use clean or distilled water. Hard tap water will scale the nozzles in time; rinse them periodically.
- Humidity requirements vary enormously between species. Research what your animal actually needs rather than copying a general setting.
- The supplier publishes its nozzle specification for the two-head kit. Spray pattern and coverage on the four-head option will differ.

No. The self-suction head sits in a water container of your choosing, so the system works anywhere you have a flat surface for the control unit and a jug of water nearby.
What is the difference between the two options?

Will it hold my terrarium at a set humidity?
Not on its own. It mists on a timed cycle rather than reading humidity. Pair it with a hygrometer and tune the cycle until the readings are right.
