Important Information
No measurements are published for Small, Medium or Large. This is the one real gap in the manufacturer's information, and on a habitat it matters more than on most products: the box has to suit the adult size of the animal you are keeping, not just look about right. We are not going to invent figures. If you tell us the species and life stage you are housing, we will ask the manufacturer for the internal dimensions before you commit — and if the box that arrives is wrong for your animal, say so and we will sort it out.
This is an enclosure, not a complete setup. There is no heating, no UVB, no thermostat and no substrate. Every species listed above has its own temperature, humidity and lighting requirements, and a ventilated plastic box on its own will not meet them. Plan the heat source and the gradient separately, and check both ends of the enclosure with a thermometer rather than assuming.
Heat sources and plastic. PP is not designed to sit against a basking lamp. Keep any heat lamp well clear of the walls and lid, and prefer under-tank or ambient room heating with an enclosure of this type.
Stacking. Boxes interlock, but ventilation still needs a clear path. Do not push a stack flush against a wall on all sides, and do not stack so high that the bottom unit is carrying more than it comfortably should.
Cleaning. Warm water and a reptile-safe disinfectant only. Household cleaners leave residues that are hazardous in a sealed, ventilated box.
Frequently Asked Questions
What size do I need? We cannot answer that yet — the manufacturer publishes no dimensions. Message us with your species and we will get the internal measurements for you before you order.
Can I use it as a permanent home? For small invertebrates and some amphibians, yes. For a growing reptile it is better thought of as a hatchling, quarantine or grow-out enclosure that you move on from.
Will the lid hold a climbing animal? The two-section lid is designed to reduce escapes, but no locking mechanism is specified. For a determined climber or a strong gecko, check the fit on arrival and weight or clip the lid if needed.
Can I put a heat mat under it? An under-tank mat on a thermostat is the usual approach with a plastic enclosure. Never run one without a thermostat, and never sit the box directly on an overhead-style basking lamp.
Is the plastic safe for the animal? The manufacturer specifies food-grade PP, stated as non-toxic and odourless. As with any new plastic enclosure, rinse and air it before use.
Do the boxes stack with each other in different sizes? The interlocking design is intended for matching units. Mixing sizes in one stack is unlikely to lock properly — keep a stack to one size.
