This is an enclosure only. No heater, no filter, no basking lamp, no UVB lamp, no substrate and no water conditioner are included, and none are listed by the manufacturer. Aquatic turtles need heat and UVB to stay healthy; plan to buy those separately.

Suitable for hatchlings and small species, not for a growing adult turtle. A desk-sized tank is a starter or grow-out habitat. Red-eared sliders and similar species outgrow enclosures of this kind quickly and will need a much larger tank.

Does it come with a heater, filter or lamp?
No. The package is the tank, its built-in climbing and basking spot, and a small planter. Heating, UVB lighting and filtration are all separate purchases.
Is it glass?
No — it is PET plastic. That makes it much lighter and far less likely to break, but it will scratch more easily than glass, so clean it with a soft cloth only.
Can I keep fish or shrimp in it instead?
Yes. The manufacturer lists fish, shrimp, crabs and small turtles as suitable. Bear in mind there is no filtration, so it suits low-load setups with regular water changes.
Will my turtle grow out of it?
Almost certainly, if it is a species that reaches any size. Treat this as a hatchling or grow-out habitat, or as a permanent home only for genuinely small species.
What is the planter for?
It holds a small live or artificial plant on the dry side, so the habitat looks like a miniature landscape rather than a plastic box. It is included with both sizes.
