Product Overview
Older cats, thin-coated dogs and anyone who sleeps on a cold tiled floor all lose heat faster than they can make it. This USB heated pet mat gives them a small, steady patch of warmth to curl up on — a 40 cm round pad that holds a constant low temperature of roughly 28°C and runs from any USB port, so there is no mains adapter, no plug-type problem and no thermostat to set. Drop it inside a bed, a crate, a carrier or a favourite chair and it does one job quietly all winter.
Why You'll Love It
- Gentle constant warmth rather than a hot pad that cycles on and off
- Runs from a standard USB port — power bank, laptop, car adapter or wall plug
- Small and light enough to move between the bed, the sofa and the car
- Water-resistant surface layer for the occasional accident
- Non-slip backing keeps it in place on tile, hardwood and concrete
- Fits inside most small pet beds and carriers without alteration
Key Features
- Five-layer construction. The manufacturer lists soft plush on top, a water-resistant insulating leather layer, the constant-temperature heating layer, PP cotton insulation, and a non-slip linen-cotton base.
- Constant low temperature. Warms to about 28°C (roughly 82°F), stated as up to 28.5°C. There is no temperature dial — it holds one setting.
- USB powered. Universal USB connection, so it works from whatever USB supply you already own.
- Non-slip base. Described by the manufacturer as suited to tile, hardwood, concrete and other smooth surfaces.
- Portable. At about 300 g and 1 cm thick it travels easily and lies flat inside an existing bed.
- Two plush finishes. The manufacturer offers the pad in a short-pile and a long-pile plush, listed here as Design A and Design B.

Important Information
- A word about the two designs. The manufacturer sells this pad in a short-pile and a long-pile plush but does not label which of its two colourways is which, so we have listed them honestly as Design A and Design B and left the photographs to speak for themselves rather than invent names for them.
- It takes the chill off — it is not a heater. The manufacturer states plainly that in very cold conditions the warming effect is less noticeable. This pad is designed to add gentle warmth to an already sheltered spot, not to heat an outdoor kennel.
- Supervise the first few uses. Watch that your pet settles on the pad rather than beside it, and that a dog who chews cables leaves the cord alone. Unplug it when nobody is home.
- Give your pet a way off it. Leave enough unheated bed or floor beside the pad that an animal that gets too warm can simply move.
- Not for use with animals that cannot move themselves — very young, very frail or post-operative pets should only use a heat source under veterinary guidance.
- Care. The surface is water-resistant and can be wiped down with a damp cloth. Unplug it first and never immerse the pad or its cable in water.
Frequently Asked Questions
How hot does it actually get?
About 28°C, roughly 82°F — close to body temperature and deliberately gentle. There is no adjustment; it holds one constant setting.
What is the difference between Design A and Design B?
The manufacturer offers the pad in a short-pile and a long-pile plush finish but does not say which of its two designs corresponds to which. We would rather tell you that than guess — please compare the two product photographs before choosing.
Do I need a special plug or adapter?
No. It uses a standard USB connector and runs from any USB source — a wall adapter, laptop, power bank or car socket. That also means there is no country plug-type to worry about.
Will it fit my cat's bed?
It is a 40 cm (15.75 in) circle and only 1 cm thick, so it sits inside most small and medium pet beds, crates and carriers. Measure the base of your bed against 15.75 inches to be sure.
Can I use it outside or in an unheated garage?
We would not recommend it. The manufacturer states the warming effect becomes hard to notice at very low ambient temperatures, so it belongs indoors or in a sheltered, already-warm space.
Is it safe to leave on all night?
The pad is designed for continuous low-temperature use, but as with any heated product we recommend supervising it while your pet gets used to it, checking the cable regularly for chew damage, and unplugging it when you are out.
