Its listing states that both a plastic version and a ceramic version exist, but it labels the two options only as A and B and never connects either letter to a material. The mount is suction, not screws. Suction needs a smooth, clean, non-porous surface such as tile, glass or sealed gloss paint. It will not hold reliably on textured plaster, wallpaper, bare brick or raw wood.
