The manufacturer publishes no weight limit for this bridge. It states that it is strong and carries multiple cats, but gives no figure in kilograms or pounds, and we are not going to invent one for a product that hangs above your cat's head. If a precise load rating matters to you — for very large cats, or several at once — message us and we will ask the supplier before you order.
Installation matters more than the bridge does. The screws supplied are generic. What actually holds a cat up is what you fix into: mount into studs, joists or solid masonry using wall plugs rated for your wall type, never into plasterboard alone. If you are not confident identifying what is behind your wall, have it fitted by someone who is. Mount both ends level and at the same height, and check the fixings periodically — a bridge that has worked loose is more dangerous than no bridge at all.
Allow a 1–2 cm tolerance on all measurements; they are taken by hand. Wood grain and colour vary naturally between units.
Sisal rope frays with use, which is normal. Trim loose strands rather than letting long threads develop, since claws and toes can catch in them.
