- The manufacturer describes a natural sisal scratching surface as part of this range. Sisal is not present on every component, so check the image for the piece you are ordering if a scratching surface is what you are after.
- These are wall-mounted fittings. They must be fixed securely into studs or with wall anchors rated for the load — plasterboard alone is not sufficient.
- Mount steps at a spacing your cat can manage comfortably, and start low if your cat is elderly, overweight or new to climbing.
- Check all fixings periodically and re-tighten if anything works loose.
- Wipe clean with a barely damp cloth. Do not soak the wood.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I get the whole climbing wall shown in the photos?
No. Each option is a single component. The photographs show what is possible once several components are combined, so choose and order each piece you want individually.
Which components should I start with?
A common starting point is two or three step pedals leading up to a perch or hammock, so your cat has a route up and somewhere to settle at the top. You can add platforms and cat houses later.
Can these be fitted to a plasterboard wall?
Only with wall anchors rated for the load, or by fixing into the studs behind. A cat landing on a shelf applies far more force than its resting weight, so the fixing matters more than the shelf.
Is there a weight limit?
The manufacturer does not publish one. The components are solid wood and built for climbing and jumping, but if you have a particularly heavy cat we would suggest mounting perches lower to the ground.
Do any of the pieces have a sisal scratching surface?
The manufacturer describes natural sisal as part of this range, but does not specify which components carry it. Please check the product image for the piece you are considering before ordering.
Is it safe for kittens?
The wood is sanded smooth with no sharp edges. As with any climbing furniture, mount the lowest steps within easy reach and supervise kittens until they are confident on the route.
